Azumarill is a Melee All-Rounder Pokémon.

Obtaining[]

Unite Battle Committee[]

The Azumarill Unite license can be bought from the Unite Battle Committee for 10,000 Aeos Coins or 575 Aeos Gems.

Strategies[]

For more tips and tricks on using Azumarill, see here.

Target Wild Pokemon One-By-One[]

Try to concentrate on only one target when gathering experience points rather than hitting every one of them. It might be challenging to capture clustered Wild Pokemon spawns in the midst of the lanes, such as Altaria and Swablus. Whirlpool and Aqua Tail are two of Azumarill's attacks that may hit multiple targets, therefore it's ideal you use their anger to draw the Wild Pokemon towards you so you can fight each one separately. In addition to ensuring a quicker farming period, this will stop your rivals from obtaining the last hit.

Take the Jungle Path[]

Azumarill is a perfect contender for the jungler position because of his strong beginning moveset. Azumarill can farm Wild Pokemon easily because they spawn in the centre region and are not clustered together. Additionally, since playing the jungler position ensures that Azumarill will always be at Level 5, the extra experience points let it to learn its first move upgrade sooner.

Be Mindful of Enemy Numbers[]

Huge Power determines whether an attack will hit a single target or several targets when it deals damage to a target. The number of targets present at the time the attack hits determines whether the ability activates, not how close the targets are to one another. As a result, as long as the attack you deal only strikes one target, you can still activate the passive ability even if several targets are nearby.

Evolution[]

Despite appearing in other Pokémon media, Marill does not evolve from Azurill.

When this Pokemon hits only a single opposing Pokemon with a basic attack, a move, or its Unite Move, the hit is always a critical hit. However, when this Pokemon hits two or more opposing Pokémon at once with a basic attack, a move, or its Unite Move, the hits are never critical hits.

Movesets[]

Icon Attack Type Cooldown Damage Description Notes
Starting Final
Standard Attack N/A Becomes a boosted attack with every third attack, dealing increased damage to opposing Pokémon within a cone area of effect in front of the user.
Level 1 - Level 3

The following moves can be learned at Level 1 and Level 3, in any order.

Tackle
Dash
6 seconds
207

Has the user charge forward, dealing damage to any opposing Pokémon it hits and leaving them unable to act for a short time.
Bubble
Area
5 seconds
172
>> 860
198
>> 990
Has the user spray bubbles in a cone, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon in the area of effect and decreasing their movement speed for a short time. The user can move around while using this move.
Level 4

One of the following moves can be learned at Level 4 to replace Bubble.

Whirlpool
Area
9 seconds 128
>> 1408
244
>> 2928
For a short time, four small whirlpools appear that swirl around the user as it moves. If a whirlpool hits an opposing Pokémon, the whirlpool deals damage to it and restores the user's HP. If a whirlpool hits a Pokémon on the opposing team, an increased amount of HP is restored to the user.

Upgrade (Level 10): For a short time after this move hits, the user's moves and basic attacks partially ignore opposing Pokemon's Defense.

Aqua Tail
Buff
7 seconds
1300
2784
Increases the speed and area of effect of the user's next three basic attacks. If these basic attacks hit from a distance, they also deal increased damage, restore the user's HP, and can ignore the Defense stat and shield effects of opposing Pokémon they hit.

Upgrade (Level 10): After the user activates this move, its next three basic attacks will also reduce the cooldown of all of its moves when they hit an opposing Pokémon from a distance.

Level 6

One of the following moves can be learned at Level 6 to replace Tackle.

Play Rough
Buff
5 seconds
161
>> 483
295
>> 885
Increases the speed and area of effect of the user's next three basic attacks. If these basic attacks hit from a distance, they also deal increased damage, restore the user's HP, and can ignore the Defense stat and shield effects of opposing Pokémon they hit.

Upgrade (Level 12): After the user activates this move, its next three basic attacks will also reduce the cooldown of all of its moves when they hit an opposing Pokémon from a distance.

Water Pulse
Ranged
5 seconds
336
>> 1008
619
>> 3095
Has the user shoot a pulsing blast of water in front of itself. When the blast of water hits an enemy, it decreases their movement speed and deals damage to all enemies in an area of effect around the initial Pokémon it hit. The blast of water then automatically bounces to another target if one is available. Including the first target, the blast of water can bounce between up to 3 targets consecutively, and each hit behaves in the same way as the first. While the blast of water is traveling, the user can perform a short rolling dash in a designated direction.

Upgrade (Level 12): Increases the maximum number of targets that the blast of water can bounce between by 2.

Level 9

The Pokémon learns its Unite Move.

Belly Bash
Sure Hit
88 seconds
721
1024
Has the user pound its belly three times, granting it a shield. With each pound, the user loses HP in exchange for increased Attack. The user can move while pounding its belly. Afterward, the user targets an opposing Pokémon then charges at that Pokémon, dealing damage to and throwing all opposing Pokémon it hits while charging.
