Obtaining[]

Unite Battle Committee[]

The Scizor Unite license can be bought from the Unite Battle Committee for 14,000 Aeos Coins or 575 Aeos Gems.

Strategies[]

For more tips and tricks on using Scizor, see here.

Pick Scyther for Mobility and Burst[]

You must choose Dual Wingbeat as your damaging move upgrade if you wish to continue playing as Scyther for the duration of the game. This technique allows you to push your targets without getting into a physical altercation since it provides you sufficient range and manoeuvrability. Depending on the circumstances, you can utilise the extra dash activation to get combative or to just back down. Keep in mind that the second activation is excellent for taking down single targets because it provides greater damage to opponents with low HP.

Being a more agile Pokemon, Scyther uses crisp, rapid burst strikes to outmanoeuvre its opponents. Playing like Speedster Pokemon, it relies heavily on dash moves to make up for its lack of stamina. Players that favour assassin playstyles are the target audience for Scyther.

Pick Scizor for Consistent Sustain[]

You must choose Bullet Punch if you want your Pokemon to develop into Scizor. The move, which gives the Pokemon the ability to regenerate HP and continue in the fight for much longer, will be crucial to making Scizor's gameplay a reality. You will be encouraged to become more aggressive as you battle since the heal you receive from the move will depend on how much damage it delivers. It is also perfect for fights because it has many activations that allow it to take out multiple opponents at once.

Evolution[]

Scyhter can evolve into Scizor if the move Bullet Punch is selected upon reaching Level 5. Selecting Dual Wingbeat will leave it at Scyther for the rest of the match.

If it is used again, the user dashes in the designated direction and deals damage to opposing Pokemon it hits. At the end of the dash, the copies dash to the user's location. If a copy makes contact with an opposing Pokemon while dashing, the copy deals damage to that Pokemon and disappears. If a marked opposing Pokemon is knocked out, all of the user's move cooldowns are reduced. After using Green Illusion Dive, the Pokemon gains the following buff(s) for a few seconds:
  • Shield granted.
  • Movement speed increase for a short time.
Red Illusion Dive
Sure Hit
3375
4659
Has the user dash before throwing consecutive punches at a designated Pokemon on the opposing team, decreasing that Pokemon's movement speed. As the last punch is thrown, five illusory copies of the user are created that each dash a set distance from the user. If a copy hits an opposing Pokemon while dashing, it deals damage, decreases that Pokemon's movement speed, then disappears. For a short time, this move can be used again. If this move is used again, the user dashes in the designated direction and deals damage to opposing Pokemon it hits before punching the ground, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon in the area of effect. If the user hits a Pokemon on the opposing team while dashing, the user grabs that Pokemon and continues dashing. If the grabbed Pokemon hits an illusory copy, it will be left incapacitated. After using Red Illusion Dive, the Pokemon gains the following buff(s) for a few seconds:
  • Shield granted.
  • Movement speed increase for a short time.

Trivia[]

  • In comparison to Scyther, Scizor has superior numbers for Defence, HP, and Sp. Defence. But unlike its companion, it lacks the bursty, rapid damage, so it plays more like a conventional All-Rounder. During team fights, Scizor performs best when positioned at the front, where it can absorb attacks and deliver them with ease.
